Meeting Minutes
- Treasurers report, read by Kyle, $3954 in account. Motion to accept by Kludt, 2nd by Chris
- Old minutes read by Adrienne, motion to accept by John, 2nd by Chris
- Old business- missed the trash pick-up , but made it up on March 11th. 9 members showed. Adopt a highway advised that to renew contract in June, we must increase trash pick up days to 4 times a year from 2 times. Motion made to not renew membership due to lack of participation by Toby, 2nd by McGuire.
- Nothing new on old coke machine, still at central station
- Reid did not have prices for shirts as discussed last meeting
- New business- Toby brought banner ideas for chicken dinner on May 29th, made some changes. We would like to give back to community. Motion made by John Young to create $500 scholarship to Canyon Lake High School Senior towards a fire/ems schooling. Also need to make flyers for public to see. Chris will bring paperwork to get it started. Toby will contact KGNB for promotion and Adrienne will contact the Herald.
- Sponsor a hole again this year for Comal County Fair Association for $100 motion by Chris, 2nd by John.
- Form a team for NBFFA softball tournament, contact Kyle
- Motion made by Kludt to donate $250 to Reid Smith foundation and open to personal donations. 2nd by John.
- Kludt still updating website, making great progress.
- St 3 needs picnic table, st 2 needs a new one. Motion to spend under $250 to get 2 kits to make the tables made by Toby, 2nd by Chris.
- Cosco brought the idea up to set up a table and sell our tshirts at CLHS games. He will be the contact if anyone wants to participate.
